TTU is AGAIN ranked one of "America's 100 Best College Buys." This designation, reported each year by Institutional Research & Evaluation Inc., named TTU one of the BEST college educations for the cost nationwide for 2006, 2007 and 2008.

 

TTU is AGAIN ranked among the “Top Public Universities” by U.S. News & World Report. The magazine ranked TTU one of the Top Public Universities in the South in its 2002, 2003, 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008 America's Best Colleges Guides. This year TTU is one of the Top 10 Public Universities in the South.

 

TTU is ranked a "Best Southeastern College" by The Princeton Review for 2008. This is the fourth consecutive year the publication has recognized TTU in the rankings.

 

TTU enrollment continues to reach record levels Student enrollment has reached record numbers every year for the past seven years. Student headcount surpassed the 10,000 mark in Fall 2007 by reaching 10,321.

 

Tennessee Tech graduates the highest percentage of students. TTU’s persistence to graduation rate of 49% is higher than the average of all Tennessee Higher Education Commission public universities, Tennessee Board of Regents universities and Ohio Valley Conference universities. The six-year graduation rate is for first-time, full-time freshmen who enrolled in Fall 2000.

 

TTU's alumni are world-class leaders. Among TTU graduates are the former president of Boeing, a two-time space shuttle astronaut, a retired New York Times assistant managing editor, a four-star general, a country music superstar and more.
